Hi,
Anyone have any suggestions for where to get a headset w/ microphone for the C3000 / C3100? Sounds like earlier Zauri had a 2.5mm jack, but now they are 3.5mm. I have seen lots and lots of single-jack 2.5mm headsets for cell phones. Also have found lots of dual-jack 3.5mm headsets for computers etc. But has anyone come across a single-jack 3.5mm one?? |

I Have a C3100 & the Sharp Remote this has s a 3.5 MM Plug with 3 rings & a tip
I dont know if you can use this For type of plug for a Mic though a normal pair of Headphones work Ok |

just buy a 2.5mm headset and a 2.5mm->3.5mm adapter. This should work.(I didn't try myself, but read several success stories for sl5500)

Yeah, picked up a 2.5 -> 3.5 mm adapter at radio shack so I can use cell phone headsets. The adapter itself sticks out a fair bit from the zaurus, so it's not ideal, but it works. Also did see one 3.5mm set on ebay, but with big and bulky earphones, not so convenient for carrying around.
Alban: yes, you get either mono out + mic in, or stereo out, depending on what type of device you plug in to the jack (the z can tell). |
