Hi, my ARCHOS340's USB is no longer working and would appreciate any input on how to fix this. When I plug the player to my PC, nothing happens (i.e. the PC doesn't add the drive as usual and the archos is still on player mode). I did 3 things without any success so far:
1- Replace the battery 2- Replace the USB cable 3- Tried 4 different PCs The player is working fine playing music and videos, but without the ability to use the USB connector, it's somewhat useless. So I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks!! |

Calling tech support sounds like the next step. Definately a hardware problem, it'll likely need to be replaced.

QUOTE(Tom61 @ Oct 25 2005, 12:38 AM) Calling tech support sounds like the next step. Definately a hardware problem, it'll likely need to be replaced. Is there any alternatives to get an ARCHOS player repaired elsewhere than at ARCHOS? They charge a fortune even for minor repairs. Any recommendations would be appreciated. |
