Well I had a weekend free and.....
Decided to install Mandriva 10.2 on my PC and see if I could get kinoDV up and running. Suprised myself after two tries and a reinstall of the OS I got it working :0) (and it works well) However I now find I need a video editor app, somthing which will allow me to change the colour balance and if posable also do chroma key edits. (I have a lot of blue screen DV stock) I tried several times to install cinalerra v1 and v2 but after lots and lots of tries now have an install of v2 that will do everything except save the new video (render) The clip does save, but becomes massive 300MB for a 30sec mpeg1??? and the video is distorted with no sound and colour all over the place. If I export to jpegs (one jpeg per frame) then the jpegs are fine so anyone have any idea what the problem is??? |
