This thread is reserved solely for announcements of newly available or updated contributed packages[*] so that people can just check one thread to see what goodies are available.
One package (or set of closely related packages) per post. If you want to discuss/report bugs etc on the packages then start a new thread. I've compiled Firefox 1.5.0.2, but honestly didn't notice any difference over 1.5.

Hello,
I've compiled python2.5 alpha1 including all libs in one ipkg. This installs as python2.5 (aka make altinstall), so you can use it side-by-side with a regular installation. The file can be found at http://mail.pdaxrom.org/contrib/fabian/ , thanks to pgas for uploading. Regards, Fabian |
