Lexar has a rebate right now (til march 31) on their 40x CF cards. $15 on 256mb, $20 on 512mb, and $40 on 1gb.
http://www.ebuyer.com has the 256mb 40x Lexar CF for $61 plus shipping, best price I could find on these. I ordered one on Thursday, will advise if there's any problems. j |

The card arrived today, right on schedule. Surprisingly, it includes Lexar's 'JumpShot' USB CF reader too. (the product name includes "Jumpshot" but descriptions I read didn't mention the reader being included)
All in all I'm quite pleased with the deal, and no complaints about the vendor. Sadly, they've raised their price since my original post and order, now $72 instead of $61. (however, the 'normal' 4x Lexar 256mb CF is $46, one of the best deals on that cap CF I've seen lately) AccuPC (http://www.accupc.com/itemDetail.jsp?pid=MFLCF25640380) has them now at $64.50 shipping included. j |
