Hi folks,
Lately I have noticed that my speaker is intermittently on and off when I use my Z. If I press a bit with my thumb right next to the speaker grille the sound comes back. When I let up, it's gone again. I get the feeling that there's a loose connection at the speaker itself, probably something that just needs a good crimp. Is disassembly a pain for this? Am I on the right diagnostic track here? I'd hate to be soundless. The headphone jack works great. Without the speaker I can't use my Z as a reliable alarm clock or pager pest. Thanks, Scott |
