I'm not an expert but i will try to give you some advices.
First you sad you have a Simpad CL4, this machine have 32MB rom and 16MB ram and i think it's not possible to install a familiar image nor gpe nor opie (of course it's about linux os) If you have windows ce installed i suggest to try gowerpoint uBook (www.gowerpoint.com) it's not free but it's a very good ebook reader for wince. I have a SL4 Simpad and now i'm testing the third release candidate of familiar (i like very much opie) and i have installed justreader and i was a littlebit dissapointed about this software but i will try to succed with something else, maybe fbreader if i will succeed with installing. Sorry for my bad english and welcome to the club. |

I don't have a Simpad but I do use Opie on 3 different devices. I would suggest you give opie-reader a try. It works with everything I want to read except fb2 format... for that I use fbreader. |

There is now also a description on how to install it on such a SIMpad. http://opensimpad.org/index.php/Linux Have fun with Linux nice |
