Hello everybody, after trying the various ROMS out there I decided to stick with Openzaurus on my akita. I did a bootstrap install, installed fluxbox and xserver-kdrive-xfbdev (would it also be possible to install a standard xfree or xorg in Openzaurus?) with their dependencies, and now I'm trying to figure out how to start fluxbox sad.gif . I can get into graphics mode by running Xfbdev, but I cant' find a way to make startfluxbox connect to the xserver. Can anybody help me?

xserver-kdrive *is* Xorg. It's built from http://ftp.x.org/pub/X11R7.1/src/xserver/x...1-1.1.0.tar.bz2

OK, so it is built from the same sources, thanks for pointing that out. But if I had startx or xinit available, I didn't have to ask for help.
