Hi,
got a c700 recently and love the functionality, but it's dog slow. it seems to be slower in cacko than the original sharp rom. anyone have any speedup tips for the 700? which rom, original, cacko, other, seems to be the most responsive? thanks, bubox |

thanks for the input Koen.
i know the 700 is the slowest of the bunch, but i just need it to do music, vids (highly compressed) and maybe some web surfing. the other day i checked out a c1000 at a big electronics store and i was surprised that it launched apps slow also. not as slow, but it made me feel a bit better. any other thoughts on speeding up the z? thanks, bubox |

There's plenty of great command line apps and have multiple tty's setup so I don't always use the window manager and thus enjoy greater speed. |
