From the picture it's the same one as Geeks.com - a bit closer to me. Is the driver you're using the Davicom 9601 one discussed above? that one looks exactly like the one i have and it uses the rtl8150 module. it comes in many different colours also. i got the blue and the green ones... http://www.users.on.net/~hluc/myOQO/myAccessories.jpg oops, I got a yellow one as well... |

QUOTE(michaelyzy @ Mar 29 2007, 09:04 PM) but my rtl8150.o USB LAN can not work in the pdaxrom Beta1 in Tosa, the kernel is 2.4.18. but i don't know how to compile the driver of it. wellswang help me a lot .anyway,i won't give up to make it work in my Tosa. Rtl8150 is so easy to use in my sl-c3100. in the original rom and the pdaxrom any version I've compiled rt8150's driver for tosa, michael tested it, and it runs well.

The large chip inside says "Zt CKN 0635". Does this make it one of the above, or something else? The only possible clue on the box is "Uses 93C46 to store resource configuration, ID parameter, etc." I'd plug it in and see if it worked with one driver or the other, but I didn't think through that I'd need an adapter for this adapter, since of course it's a standard rather than mini USB plug on it. |

I got a usb lan adapter from geeks.com, but I don't know what chipset it uses, and being the n00b I am in this area, have no idea how to figure it out or get it working. Could somebody help?
EDIT: Found that it uses the dm9601 chipset and I downloaded the driver, bu can't get it to work (it was compiled for 2.4.x, and I have a 2.6.x kernel). Any tips? Thanks! |

Meanie, you mentioned this in another thread. Is the 9601 driver in the latest pdaXii13? Thanks.
