As usual, life's been busy as usual for me since my move down to Texas. New job, new house blah blah excuses whatever who cares. Anyway, I'm trying to set aside a couple days to just fix everything that's broken on this site. I'm shooting for this weekend, but please don't shoot me if I can't.

I am aware of the attachments issue. Is there anything else? Anything you guys want added? Give me a nice laundry list of stuff to do and order it by priority.

Things to note:
- I don't have access to the old stuff, Mike does. This means that any missing files are out of my reach.
- The site might be down at times if I need to replace something. Expect outages.
- I would love to upgrade to the latest IPB, but I need to find the files and I dont have access to our customer portal. I'll do my best on that end.
- Texas is much hotter than back home.

1: restoring the ZUG main page to normality? Restored  biggrin.gif

What exactly was wrong here? Is it the issue I fixed or did someone else get that?
QUOTE(tux @ May 24 2007, 02:20 AM)
2: restoring the download file and facility? Including the Cacko links!  sad.gif

:-/ This is where I can't really help. I dont have any of the old files. If you guys can link me to files, I can certainly upload them onto the server into their respective locations.
QUOTE(tux @ May 24 2007, 02:20 AM)
4: restoring zaurusthemes?  wink.gif

I fixed this one just now.
QUOTE(tux @ May 24 2007, 02:20 AM)
As regards the ZUG downloads: I was pointed to an old thread that said these files would be going to be provided through ELSIX. They aren't there. So I presume this was not  done. A lot of the ZUG download files are very hard to find elsewhere. The ZSI, ELSIX etc link to the ZUG downloads...

ELSIX has been neglected for a while. Noone's stepped up to bat wanting to maintain it and take over the code, so it's just hanging out right now.

2) Rebuild the Cacko ROM and source code downloads using these links.
Cacko ROMs
Cacko Source
That way only the Kino2 package and source links would remain broken.  The best way to fix this, of course, is to work with Maslovsky but, he hasn't logged in the forum in almost 2 months. sad.gif

Ok, so if I upload these we should be green with the Cacko roms area?

I would say a light shade green. smile.gif That will give us all the 1.23 ROMs, the 1.23 Japanese kernel and the 1.23 Kernel Source (2.4.18 and 2.4.20).

What we would still be missing is the Cross tools to build Cacko 1.23 2.4.20 kernel, the 1.21 and 1.22 ROMs and hotfixes, the 1.22 japanese kernel and the kernel sources for 1.21 and 1.22.

Most people are looking for the latest anyway (1.23) so we would have that covered which would probably cover 90% of the complaints on this one. The biggest loss would be the 1.23 Cross Tools to roll your own 1.23 kernel.

I wish I did. I can put the word out here and TyrannoZaurus that we are looking for them and see what turns up.
