It seems that there's less and less of interest to those of us with a humble sl5500 these days as all the developers have newer and shinier toys.

Even Mr Hentges seems to have moved on.

Still, you've got to expect that if you're a dinozaur.

I was in a rush when I put up that other post, but did have a lot more to say. wink.gif

Yes, it is a drag the big-name developers are not very interested in the collie or our older sibling, the sl5000. But they do know we have to be considered, as the attempts of angstrom and pdaXrom developers illustrate.

And, there also are those of us who continue to do a lot to make our collie's more versatile. I continue writing scripts that, when I get them polished enough, I publish so others can use them. I just haven't seen enough interest in what I'm doing to work real hard at cleaning many of my personal scripts up for publishing, but I do keep that goal in mind as I write. See my scripts section at:

Also check out Quickening's hackery and potpourri of sl5500 scripts at:

Most of the scripts I have been working on have to do with resolving networking and dialup issues using a CF modem.

But more interest has been shown in the how-to's and tutorials I've worked on, so that's where I've been putting more energy.

If you want more of what we do, you have to give us feedback on what we've done, and let us know if the stuff is helpful! wink.gif
