How long does the battery last on your zaurus if you leave it on (with and without wifi running)?
I'm mainly interested in the C750, but I'd like to see how the other models compare. With wifi I can barely get 30 minutes on mine, and even without an hour is pushing it. Is it worth buying a new battery or is battery life generally a problem for zaurii? What difference does under-clocking make? Thanks Simon |

With a couple of reconditioning cycles I'm up to about an hour with wifi and 2 hours without. What should I be getting?

QUOTE(systemparadox @ Aug 11 2007, 07:51 AM) With a couple of reconditioning cycles I'm up to about an hour with wifi and 2 hours without. What should I be getting? My brand spickity new c860, when I got it, could probably brush 8hrs without wifi. Definitely 6 was easy - I used it for that long straight (typing) on the flight back from Japan. Also many 4 hr stretches on the shinkansen from Kyoto to Tokyo and back. I just (today) got a new BL11 for my 3000. I'm tempted to try a comparison against my aging original battery to see what the difference is like. I'm at a bit of a loss on just how to go about it, though. ![]() |

My C1000 was purchased in March 2006 and my 3200 was puchased August 2006. Both of them have severe power drop offs using wireless (Buffalo = 1000 and Symbol = 3200). 5 minutes of browsing in Firefox drops the battery to 65% on the 1000 and 75% on the 3200. They both used be around 90% for that same task when they were new. Lithium (Ion or polymer) have an average life expectancy of around two years.
