I installed ticthy using the usb network but when start xdm doesn't recognize the password that I set and I can't acces to x or to another shell.I've to reinstall all to change the password?

I tried one rather brutal way to stop xdm.
Exit X by pressing [Ctrl] [Alt] [BS] Then keep pressing [Ctrl] [z] quickly enough. Otherwise xdm will load very soon. Once you succeed in getting the console back, do this: CODE /etc/init.d/xdm stop update-rc.d -f xdm remove Then you can go about fixing things or setting up X. |

I did something similar but changing to the next virtual console or typing very fast my account and pressing enter. |
