Anyone have a source for a replacement battery for the 3100 that has a good price? I will be depending on my Zaurus for some months as my sole access, and want to be sure I have a good battery. But US $90+ is a bit steep.
Obviously I want something that will not fry the beast as well. |

I contacted the seller about this, and they replyed that they will contact the manufacturer, but apparently nothing has happened. There was already a discussion about this matter here, but can't find it now. Anyway you have to carve some plastics around the battery contacts, they are a bit two deep. After that you perhaps have to tape a folded paper piece or something to the bottom of the battery, so that it will sit in tightly. Sorry that I forgot to mention that, but after doing those measures by batteries have worked flawlessy. I have not oppened my battery cover for a long time, so didn't remember that. |
