I finally uploaded the SL-C1000 (Akita) image for the latest version of Android.
See my blog for installation instructions. Have fun! |

Great. Is it possible to install Android on C3x00 without touching anything on the internal disk, just like on C1000 booting from SD?

Sure, you can run android from SD (or CF) just like it's done on Akita. You need a kernel with Altboot and you need to extract the android-root.tar.gz to SD (or CF) manually. I think that's all |

Thanks. Is there a workaround without altboot, since that will tie to Angstrom? How about kexec an Android-friendly kernel and chroot to SD to boot Android?

I guess it should work. It may also be a nice solution for the SL-C7x0 and SL-C860 devices. I may give it a try later |
