Am I the only one who avoids doing any paperwork as there are far more fun things to do, and so by the time tax return comes round is totally unprepared and has to spend a lot of time finding all the receipts, statements etc and then even more time trying to turn the mess of numbers into something material.
I wouldn't mind so much if the government didn't waste so much of it!

Hey, they're doing stuff with your money! They're expanding the bureaucracy to meet the needs of the expanding bureaucracy.
