Good Afternoon, I have received my freerunner some days ago, but I can't find the application Dates (calendar). How can I install it?
Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot |

I assume you are running the default image on the device? As I recall the package is called openmoko-dates2 in the repository. You will need to install the package from the command line via the terminal on the phone or via SSH with the USB cable ( http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/USB_Networking ).
You also might try upgrading to the OM2008.8 image: http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Om_2008.8 I recommend using this image from Raster: http://download.enlightenment.org/misc/ and adding Zecke's testing repositories to your /etc/opkg/* files: http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Download#Uno...builds_by_zecke The via SSH over USB cable run: opkg update ; opkg upgrade Then reboot your phone. Hope this helps |
