While trying to figure out what to do with my old 5600 I came up with the bright idea of using it as a remote media player up high in the kids room attached to some speakers, think wakeup call, stories, music etc.
I know that I can do most of this on the command line but I am at a loss as to the best way of doing this remotely maybe from a web interface, think Soundbridge or squeezebox lite. Or more importantly how my wife can do it. I am not tied to a distro as I need (okay want) to reflash anyway Any suggestions? |
