I am interested to know if anyone is using Jaunty / Zubuntu with alternative kernels?
I really like the work that Cortez has done on Zubuntu and Jaunty now seems to be working well, but I'm not too fond of the Omegamoon kernel.
It's just downright strange. I cant use ssh as a normal user, I get all sorts of weirdo socket creation issues with various apps, and I had to diddle the dhcp client with setuid to get that to work. At the moment I am considering trying out the Yonggun kernel because I have had pretty good experiences using that with Debian.

What other kernels have people tried?

Hmm, not too fond of the Omegamoon kernel?
How about an upgrade to the 2.6.30 kernel then. I just got a working version ;-)
