hi,I have a yopy 3700 pda with a cf slot, running linux(linupy) and X windows and cannot get it to reconise my Origo Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11b NL-2511CF Mercury'. wifi card,it came with the yopy that i purchased from ebay,but the chap i purchased it from said that he had never tried it,does anybody know how to get the yopy to reconise it and hopyfully get it working so that i can go on line with it.
any help would be very gratefully recieved |

the mercury card is a prism2 chipset, and AIUI it needs firmware uploading to it when the system boots, and then you use the hostap drivers.
hopefully this is enough to search the forum and get started, if you get stuck let us know. |
