I think we are reliving the great disappointments that we went through with the Sharp SL**** series. I have the SL5500, SL5600 and SL6000. They (Sharp) were real good for updates t the beginning, and then forgot we existed.
Maybe they are counting on the users to build their own versions of the OS and keep it updated??? |

Hmmm, interesting, Rene...
In meantime, my current Zaurus replacement is my Pandora Rebirth from Open Pandora, also made in Germany... In fact, my new 1GHz Pandora was just shipped from Germany to me this morning!....so, can't wait to play with it soon... Pandoras are great, bit larger/thicker than Zaurii, but not too much, very pocketable...have built-in wifi and 2 SD card slots....and can run Debian or Angstrom, etc....so, very flexible.... |
