Okay,
So today board statistics say: "19 guests, 11 members, 1 anonymous members " Yesterday (and every time I peak in) was about the same, but there are pretty much no new posts beyond the occasional one every month or so. So I don't get it... I mean if there are more or less about 20 people on the board on a given day, and even half are guests, how come so few posts? I realize that this is an older device and there are often about 50% guests browsing, but I have seen more activity on really vintage sites (like Tandy, Amiga, etc). Anyone got an idea what's up? Also, if you're here and reading this, post a reply just as a shout-out... at least passerbys will feel posting is worthwhile (since there is an audience). Just my 2 cents. And yeah, I been away a long time as well, not blaming people for that, just lost as to why there seem to be users but no posts or conversations. |

Hi Guys,
I have been reading your posts, yes the stylus and screen can be a pain, but I have learned to live with them. Actually, though, my collie now serves as a backup running things the tosa does not do well, and I spend most of my time on the Tosa sl6000. Finally got an external USB keyboard and that makes it possible to type more comfortably while the Tosa sits in the docking station plugged in to wall power. Were Sharp to make a replacement, I am betting they would not improve on the Zaurus' Achilles heel - it's very easily broken power connector in the bottom corner. Some of you have seen my blog posts about that. To say the Tosa is more rugged was a bunch of baloney - it's connector whacked out after 3 months, the one on my collie didn't get whacky for 3 years! It apparently did not dawn on them that users might hold their Zaurii in their laps while the AC/DC was plugged in. I very seriously doubt they tested for stress on the connector. sdjf |
