Finally becoming too frustrated with the flakey USB sync, I bought the Socket CF 10Mbit Ethernet card. Everything I've read indicates it should "just work", but it "just doesn't". The configuration looks right (DHCP, up on startup), I get a link light on my switch, and the card shows up in the card removal function (the tray icon for removables). Forcing the interface up at the command line doesn't help. I was using the latest testing version of OZ at first. I then reverted back to the latest stable release. Does anyone have any suggestions? It's been a while since I've gotten my hands dirty in linux, so maybe I'm just overlooking something simple.
