I can connect my 5600 to my OSX 10.3 mac using the cradle and AJZaurusUSB. But when I try the 6000, nothing. Has anyone done this?

Just got an SL-6000 yesterday and found I had similar problems (cradle doesn't connect). I have now abandoned the cradle and am going the wireless route. I had to find a PC to load the Terminal program so I could make the changes to allow telnet sessions to work. Now I am working on an smb connection -- still having problems there, though.
Don't know what the problem with the cradle is. |

Did you try to contact the author of AJZaurusUSB? He might be interested in learning about this issue.

Edit the file....
/System/Library/Extensions/AJZaurusUSB.kext/Contents/Info.plist Search for Zaurus and find the entries for various models. Add the following entry for the SL-6000 <key>Zaurus SL-6000</key> <dict> <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key> <string>org.lucidcake.driver.AJZaurusUSB</string> <key>IOClass</key> <string>org_lucidcake_driver_AJZaurusUSB</string> <key>IOProviderClass</key> <string>IOUSBDevice</string> <key>idProduct</key> <integer>36914</integer> <key>idVendor</key> <integer>1245</integer> </dict> Restart the mac. Put the sl6000 into the holder. Turn it on and then plug it in. Follow the AJZaurus directions as for 5x00. |
