what would be the best compact flash wifi card to buy if u want to use home wireless network and be able to use kismet and / or Wellenreiter II ? i think 4 kismet it needs rtfmon and wellenreiter only supports the prism, lucent, and cisco.
has anyone tried these cards or do u know a good one thats low on power consumption and fullfills kismet, wellenreiter requirments? |

I have an Ambicom WL110C that does a good job, but it seems to drain the battery pretty heavily. However, it has a strong antenna (much stronger than the one in the Dell Truemobile in the ipaq) that was able to keep pace with my friends laptop on a wardrive.
I've heard lots of good things about that Linksys card as well, including that it's very good on battery drain. I'm sure a search here will get you some results. |
