Hi all,

I wonder how to use the Zaurus (I own the C860) as a presentation device. Software seems to be available (Sharp ships it with "Presentation", is there other software out there?) . But how do I connect it to a projector?

With a VGA CF card.
This card has an external VGA connector for your monitor/video projector.

Have a look here: http://conics.net/shp/pda/zaurus-sl-c700/sl-acc.html

It's too bad the Margi CF VGA-out cards dont work with the Z. Anyone ever contact Margi about supporting the Z (or hacking up some drivers)?
It's a lot cheaper and much easier to pick up than the IOData one.

Have they got Linux driver? Apparently not. I couldn't find any on their site. Very bad! They don't support us. You should contact them and complain about this.

As soon as they will release a driver for Linux, you will be able to port it to Z. If they release all hardware specifications, you will still need to find people wanting to code the driver (mainly Linux guys owning the video card too).
If this company send me the card and the hardware documentation, I will be happy to do it myself. And I'm sure that I won't be the only one ready to help.

I've sent them off a support request for Linux support. We'll see what they reply with. I'd urge anyone else who's interested to do the same. It DOES work!

Hi folks!

This is the answer I got from MARGI:
QUOTE
We are not compatible with that model. At this time we do not plan to have a Linux version of Presenter-to-Go

Please visit the following link for other products that are compatible with Presenter-to-Go

The same old story all over again....
