I just received a question by PM where I want to share the answer. The question was where ZMacSync stores its files so that a backup can be made. Here the answer:

we use the standard DTM database from Sharp. All files are stored in the directory

These files are part of the Backup procedure built into the Zaurus. So a "Backup" through the Settings tab is sufficient.

On the Mac, we make a .tgz file of the Addresses, the Calendar, and the Stickies databases.
The .tgz file is stored at

NOTE: we just found that we DO NOT save the correct OSX 10.3 AddressBook database in the 1.0a3 alpha release. But that does not matter as it is never modified (in this version). So a bug was hidden by missing functionality which is very typical for alpha-releases.
