I have heard this discussed before around these forums, plus there are quite a few posts lately on X/QT so I feel it is now a good time to check the opinion of the other ZUG users, with a view to making a formal request.

Yes, I support this, a new forum for X/Qt would be good, but I'm not aware of any input on ZUG by the X/Qt developer(s). X/Qt would need some more libraries ported and visibly more active development to be a real alternative to pdaXrom for Qtopia users. I want but can't see just yet (or any time soon) a merging of Cacko QT and pdaXrom, so for now, if we (Qtopia users) want X, X/Qt is the only way to proceed.

I think a X/Qt thread (if the developers were on board) would be a good thing, diversity and choice are king in the land of the Z.

I'd also like to see in the forum a list of working apps (including pdaXrom ones) under X/Qt. (and a SDK)

Zenyatta, I don't know if X/Qt works on a 5500, maybe someone could verify this. I'm sure the GIMP I use from pdaXrom wont work though as it's for Xscale architecture.
