Is there any way to add a shortcut icon to the ZUG pages?
This is done with: CODE <link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/x-icon" href="/images/icons/favicon.ico" /> within the HEAD element of the document. in the example here, "favicon.ico" should be a small rendition of the page logo. For ZUG, try using just a single penguin.
With this, the designated image will appear before the URL on most browser address fields, on the tabs in Mozilla, in Favorites lists, etc. j |

QUOTE I see a little penguin in my address bar... yes, it looks great doesn't it! though I haven't figured out how to get it working in IE, and to prevent it from going away because of the refresh from the who's online block.

Well, I figure it was better to resurrect an old topic rather than start a new one.
I often have a dozen windows in opera (18 open at the moment), and things get squished down so you can only see the icon. That makes it hard to tell where my OESF wiki and forum pages are! I'd love to see some favicons; and, if possible, slightly different ones for the wiki and forums. Thanks, Armagon |
