Just purchased a used SL-5000D. Came with the 16MB CF and a 64MB SD card.

When I do a 'mount' it doesn't show the cards.

If I do a 'mount /dev/cf' it says 'mount: /dev/hda1: unknown device'

I also get the same sort of error with 'mount /mnt/card'

The unit is using OpenZaurus 3.3.5.

Also if I manually remove the CF card it does pop up "Ejected: ATA/IDE Fixed Disk" and it does detect the card when its reinserted.

I'm a total Zaurus newbie here. I'm sure I'm missing something.

Any suggestions?

I've also tried doing a mkfs.msod /dev/hda1 and it says there's 'No such device or address'.

Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

PS I also looked into the unit and I don't see any bent pins, etc.

Thanks

Got it working.

Ended up reinstalling the OpenZaurus ROM. Now everything appears to be working fine.
