I'm trying to sync an SL-5500 in Linux. It is running a sharp rom 3.10. I've installed qtopiadesktop 1.7 from trolltech, no go. I've installed multisync with the Opie/Zaurus plugins. No go. Any help? From what i understand, its supposed to sync through port 4242, but when I try to telnet in, I get connection refused. I have set it up with USB networking, and I can use the vnc server and everything.

There is a project that is reverse engineering the current sync protocol. They have got some way from the last I heard, but are not finished. Can't remember the name of the project though unsure.gif

Great analysis!

A question not answered by that document (yet): in which file does the Zaurus save the date of the last sync?

I believe that it uses the modify_date of the file /home/zaurus/Applications/sync_completion for this purpose.
