Anyone tried porting either of these Flash players to the Z?
Swfdec is a library for rendering Flash animations and games: http://swfdec.sourceforge.net/ F4L is a Flash editor for Linux written in QT: http://f4l.sourceforge.net/ Haven't dove in myself yet, but I was wondering if anyone else had? Thanks! |

I think the problem is that lightweight browsers (DIllo, Links, etc.) just don't support plugins.

I know the desktop Opera is different than our Z Opera, but is there a chance that it'll work? I found an interesting article regarding Gnash: http://www.amdmi3.ru/gnash/ If you scroll down to the "Browser Plugin" section, you'll see that a plugin is available for Opera. It didn't work, but it showed something! That's enough to pique my interest. I'm going to try to compile Gnash and see if Opera will at least attempt to pick it up as a plugin or helper app. Can the openmoko browser play flash? |
