Hi, when to SLS few days ago and saw a shop at ground floor selling SL5500 for only $399, no jokes. The sales person say they are selling below cost. Cool.

S$290 bucks! whoa! add a hundred more and you've got yourself a spare Z altogether... seems that the Z price is depreciating faster than the camera... makes you wonder huh? where'd you get your Z Chen? d'you know of any shop at SLS offering a lower price for the sharp CF camera? |

the now-defaunct G2Tech was selling the SL5500D at S$299 and the Sharp Camera at S$129

Just happened to pop by this forum. otromen77, if you're still looking for an answer to your question, the answer is no, the 7xx is not avail in S'pore. The few of us who have it either got it in Japan or bought off an Internet retailer who can ship to S'pore.
Doesn't seem to be many people around here. You can try surfing the forums at externe.net to look for the Internet retailers that are frequently used by buyers. |

I think those on sale are model SL-5500 not SL-5500D which is meant for developer. .If you are an advanced user with Linux backgroung and would like to explore in depth, SL-5600 is strongly recommended. I have been using SL-5600 since Apr 03 and it really rocks.
Sharp is introducing SL-6000 in Jan 04 and might launch it officially in Mar '04. By then, SL-5600 should drop to $450. Keep an eye on it. |

I have a zaurus C750 myself, imported from EBAY and from a japanese guy.....quite reliable...only cost me 970 for the set + shipping
Tell u something, its realli a impressive unit with a brilliant screen...........

If you want a pda with a high use life, go with the c760...can't find anything this thing of beauty can't do what other pdas do half-heartedly.
I think this one is going to be with me for a long time. One investment i really cherish. |

camera is selling for sl 5500 at ebay for 20 and sl5000 for 170. Just do a search for zaurus
