Qtopia Compilation/ Link Error

I tried to execute a sample Qtopia app..
My main.cpp contains

#include <qtopia/qpeapplication.h>

int main(int argc, char **argv)
{
QPEApplication a(argc, argv);

return a.exec();
}

When i make the above code i get the following error :

I ve got libqte present in my lib dir.. Still the problem persists.. What could be the reason..
plz help
