I'll do my best to describe what I'm trying to do. I have a SL-5500 and I am running win98 on a somewhat crappy computer that is using DSL. I recently was given a Linksys wirless-G card and I was wondering if there is anyway to set it up so that my wireless card and zaurus communicate (ad-hoc?), thus creating a connection between the zaurus and 98. Then from there be able to use the internet through the ethernet card? It seems like I should be able to get it to work, but I haven't been able to figure it out up until now. Any ideas? pointers? programs that might help me out? Thanks a bunch!

Is it possible to have a wired ethernet card w/ DSL coming into my computer, while at the same time, having a wireless linksys card broadcasting both internet and sharing to my Zaurus w/ an ad-hoc network??? (longest sentence ever) I was just curious. I'm having problems getting it to work "straight out of the box".

I'm just curious about how I'd go about mounting on a OS X system w/ my SL-5500. I'm aware that OSX runs unix in the background, so I'm assuming it's rather similar to mounting onto a linux machine. Anyhow, has anyone done this and possibly give me some direction?

I'm just curious if it's possible to connect one Zaurus to another without going through a wireless router or what not. I'm using a SL-5500 and the other Z is the same. We both have smbmount installed and I'm assuming I would use that along w/ setting up something in /etc/hosts, but I don't exactly know how to go about it or if it's even possible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi all,
I just had a quick question. My friend just bought a SL-5500 and it came with a Netgear MA701 card, which is the card I have. The deal is, I installed Kismet on their Z and the card will pick up networks. However, when I try to browse the web it won't find anything. If I switch their card out for mine, it works fine.

I imagine that it's nothing anyone can help with. However, at the same time I was just confused about the whole "it sees networks w/ Kismet, but can't browse the web thing".
