Hello folks,
I'm new here. I just a bought a Z SL-C3200 a few days ago, and I'm very happy with it. There's just one problem, that I cannot use the wireless LAN. I bought the WLAN CF card that amazon suggested with the Zaurus, the Planex GW-CF54G (in fact I was thinking any card would work, so I did not worry about it - wrong as I realized later). The card does not work. It seems it needs some specific driver of some sort, I don't know and I'm not so knowledgeable about it. What it says is: product info: "Marvell", "802.11 CF", "ID: 04", "" manfid: 0x02df, 0x8103 function: 6 (network) I googled a bt for it but it seems there is really nothing out there ... If someone knows how to make this card work on my Z, please let me know ! btw, I'm using the original Sharp ROM. On a lighter note, the Planex CF-100TX2 (a CF Cable-LAN card) which I also bought, does work (when you install the cf-100tx2_1.0_arm.ipk package) ... |
