I confirm that the e-mail with Watapon 1.6 is not working. I tried installing the ROM twice - did not help. The Linksys CF card (wcf-12) is working fine (against my Linksys router). I saw the unit conversion in gwcalc is now fixed and does not require the softlink anymore, also the tasklist is there - Thank you Justin.

I want to remove the Ko/Pi and want to install original Sharp PIM and email. What should I do for a clean removal?

thanx

Justin, any update on the 1.6 release - sent you an e-mail but guessing you have not received it. Thanx bro.

Some sites wrongly introduces the COMPEX WCF11 Compact Flash card as G wireless. It is NOT. It is a b wireless device. They do NOT have a g wireless CF product. Here is the e-mail I received from them. So, do not order that card by mistake (if searching for a g wireless CF card).
hope this proves helpful.

Dear Zafer,
The WCF11 is a 802.11 b wireless card. Our 802.11g wireless cards are
WL54G. If you have any other questions feel free to let us know. Thanks.

All the sites that sell this product of yours think it is g wireless? your
homepage (product info) indicates that it is b wireless. Is it b wireless
or g wireless?

I tested the "Lovely Sync and Charge Cable for Sharp Zaurus SL-5500/5600" today and am impressed. It is 18.99$ (excluding S/H) and has a part number PM-CB-LSYNC-SHARPSL5500 from SuntekStore.com

I did download and installed the SL5600 related software (file transfer and backup portions only) on my XP pro machine at office, connected the cable (retractable - very nice) to the USB port and viola. It also charges my 5600 - so there is no need for another USB cradle. I also bought a charger which can be connected to the USB side of it and then to an outlet smile.gif (I already have a European type plug gender changer) so I can use it during the international trips (100-240V).

Hope this proves helpful to other 5600 users.
regards

What is the best wireless cf card / access point combination for SL-5600 to set everything up with minimal difficulty (drivers, etc)?

I already have a wired network using a Linksys dsl router/switch.

I heard the Linksys wireless card (wcf12) is OK but not sure about the access point and alternatives?

thanx in advance
best regards
