May all be pure speculation (god knows mac fans do this once in a while). But if true that they have device with stripped down OsX in works this will once and for all remove all doubts I have about where to move after my beloved Z 860 is retired.

I very much appreciate cacko feed but there is one thing missing which makes it less than ideal to use - at least the way I use it (i'm curious how many others feel this way). It would be nice to have another list on the feed page (other than 'packages') that shows all recently updated packages on top (and also dates of update). This way by quickly reading top of this list one would know whether it's time to unistall old and install new favorite packages. I would prefer this to be something I can view so I don't even have to connect my z to the internet - cacko team could display the exact same list of packages as now but just sort them differently and add the date of update line in there (date when this particular version of the package was placed in cacko feed - not date of last package release by developer). Does this make any sense?
