Is It Possible To Move /var To Sd Card Partition?

I am using pdaxrom 1.1.0 beta1 on C760.
For to make the internal storage live longer,I tried to move /var to a sd partition but with no success.
I tried edit fstab,but /var wouldn't mount automatically,although I can mount it with "mount -a" after login.
need help here.

Mplayer Freezes

I found that mencoder is fast to re-encode divx file to smaller resolution in a good quality,and another benifit is that you can re-encode a rm file to avi when you are doing this in a linux system.
the output file is just fine when played in a PC,nometter linux or windows,but when I play it in my Z,I found it freezes mplayer in a ramdom time.I can use only ctrl+c to exit mplayer.
and I got no error message when this happened.
I try the mplayer from atty too.same situation.
any idea?

Can the game "Abuse-SDL" be ported to Z?

I found a game call "Abuse-SDL" what is base on SDL.
