Anyone know how to go about this? I'm still using the Sharp ROM (1.40) and I'm not sure.

Would it be easier if I flashed the C860 with the PDAXROM? And, if so, how do I install new icons then?

/I apologize ahead of time for the newbie questions.

Has anyone has any luck in using the C860 as a cellphone?

There are a number of CF GSM adaptors, but they come with software for PocketPC and Windows OSs only. Has anyone, in all of their Linux travels, seen any kind of software that might work, in conjunction with one of these cards, on the C860?

Here are a few such cards:

One for GSM networks:

One for 3G:

First off, thanks to everyone who roams these forums. I've been a silent reader for quite a while and have found many a solution to many a problem by reading the wonderful responses provided by ZUG members.

Really, you have no idea. Thanks! biggrin.gif

Second, forgive the newbie question, but I can't seem to find any confirmation in existing threads.

I've been thinking about buying a Sandisk 2GB CF card for use in the C860. Has anyone had any experiences with 1GB+ CF cards in their Zaurii? If so, under which ROMs? :?:
