Create a simple "hello world" C program, compile with debug (gcc -g), then try to single step through the program with gdb. This fails, is this a know problem ? I am using the latest 3.8 snapshot.

I noticed a newly created snapshot directory for 3.8 beta. Anyone knows what bugs have been fixed, and what new features have been implemented ? It would be nice to include a readme.txt file with this information.

1) If one exits X, the console keyboard becomes very slow to respond.

2) Suspending the machine outside of X turns off the screen, but leave the device powered on.

Since pdaXrom is not available for the sl-3000, I decided to give openBsd for the zaurus a try. The installation is a bit of a challenge (particularly if you have a Linux background), but the result is worth the pain. smile.gif

When you label your disk during the installation, make sure the "a" partition (the partition which contains the root file system) is located at the start of the A6 partition. I made the mistake of creating the "b" or swap partition first, which prevented bsd from booting. mad.gif
