I am trying to use stardict on the pdaxqtrom beta. When I run it, either from the command line or via the popup menu, I get an image in the center of screen with the stardict logo, and nothing else. I can't seem to do anything with it.
When I run it from the command line, I get no error messages, but I do get messages that indicate that it has successfully loaded the dictionaries in /usr/local/share/stardict/dic So what is going on? Perhaps I just don't know who to use it?

How do I run a command-line shell in the SL-C3000? A lot of instructions (for changing the menus to English) and downloading the Java runtime, assume this.
Right now, I can only see the "My Zauraus" directory, with Book_Files, Image_Files, etc. How do I get to the /home directory, for example? Sorry for all the basic questions! Cheers, PJ

Just bought my new CL3000. I have not gotten very far, simply to the second screen with an image in the top middle that looks like a Q (or a T sticking thru an O). I cannot read Japanese very well, but I believe it is telling me to touch the cross with the pen. I do this and cross merely moves around the corners of the screen. How do I get past this screen? Or do I have to wait until the battery is fully charged? How long should this take.
Please excuse the ignorant questions. This is my first PDA! Cheers, Peter |
