Need Oz Community Help - Nand Release Of Oz

Hi all,

I have been using OZ since I bought my Zaurus 2 years ago, but after lots of Flashing/reflashing I now have some Corrupted block in my internal memory

I tried every possible way but it is definitely not possible to recover from this kind of error...

So now I can't flash my 6000 with OZ or Angstrom but I manage to make the NAND restore/backup working. So I'm now back to the stock ROM with Debian/XQt

I am desperate to have OZ back on my Zaurus, I can't stand the SHARP stock ROM and I wanted to help testing the 2.6 kernel on the 6000 !!!!

So I need your help ! If somebody could provide me a NAND backup of their OZ - GPE (or e17) 3.5.4 on the 6000 that would be great !

We could even organise (if the OZ devs are OK) a NAND release of all the flavour of OZ to help people that have the same issue.

I may even be able to soon provide some space to host the images.

What's The Plan For Ångström ?

Hi guys,

I have been lurking on the forums since I had my Zaurus 6000 and finally decided to register, now that I may be of some help

I saw that the Ångström was choosed as the new name for the Familiar/OpenZaurus/OpenSIMPad mega-distro.

Could we get more info on it ?

Is there a schedule for the merge ?

For the moment it seems that the individual distros have their own plan for the future, will they continue to develop on their side ?
