This is a small tool to act as a VMPS server for Cisco Switches...

I'm doing a presentation for a networking class on this and instead of running the server on my Ubuntu Linux laptop I'd rather run the server off my Zaurus =) I'm sure that'd give me some extra points!!!!

Anyway if you can get this compiled, which should be reallllly easy then please email me at Matthew.d.williams@gmail.com ASAP.

I'm pretty sure it requires nothing special and hopefully will compile with no problems!!!

So please, someone out there give it a shot biggrin.gif

I'm running The Kompany ROM on a 5500 if that assists at all.

Thanks!!!

I have a old laptop, a 400mhz celeron, nothing too special, about 4gb harddrive. It's loaded up with Debian right now, although its a little screwy so I need to reinstall for a fresh setup

I am willing to offer this as a free development box if anyone out there wants to mess around with stuff and doesn't have a box of there own.

I'll simply use SSH for all to connect and if root is needed then arrangments can be made.

If anyone is familiar with setting up a development enviroment for the Zaurus and would like to set one up on my Linux box for me that'd be great.

Of course anyone can use this for anything they need, just no abuse of course smile.gif

If anyone is interested leave a message. I'm moving to Florida for a few months and will have a lot of time on my hands (young college kid, working a internship, moving in with my brother) so I'll be looking for some stuff to do.

If the interest is there i'll do my best to get this box up and running asap for people to use.

Thanks!

Slashdot provides both a rdf and xml feed of their headlines:
http://slashdot.org/slashdot.rdf
http://slashdot.org/slashdot.xml

Would anyone be able to write a app to simply display these?

Also there would be a update button to update them nice and easily

Each would be clickable which would then open Opera pointing towards the URL of the story

If this can be done, the next step would be caching the site so you can view the stories offline, but thats another app in itself. so a basic viewer would be appreciated, thanks!!!!

Would anyone like to share websites they use that are already formatted for use on a handheld?

I know Opera performs great but sometimes its just nice to get the info and get out without the other jazz. I'd like to start building a bookmark file that can be later shared for all to use.

So post away if you have any good bookmarks!
