Xmmc And Mplayer

i really want a good gui video player so i can stream some video, so i have xmms (x multimedia system) and the mplayer xmms embedded so it runs video. problem is it doesnt work. When i type mplayer in terminal i get that the codecslconf file is incompatible. so does anyone know where to get the right version? or give me a walk through on how to install this player to run divx.

I've tried vlc but it doesnt work. Two of the packages i need from the main site do not work and do not install.

Is there a way to stream video feeds from my windows PC with a tv card to my zaurus?

That would be so cool to do, if anyone has write ups on how to do this, i would really appreciate it.

Since i just got my wireless card, i'm trying to figure out how i can mount a drive from my pc onto my zaurus

What i want to do is be able to get Mp3s from my pc to my PDA Via wireless.
Is there a program that can help me out?

Installing Sharp 3.13 Rom

I'm a newb so i really dont know what i'm doing but i seem to be having updating to the 3.13 sharp rom. I successfully did the 3.10 upgrade and found out there was a 3.13.

Now here is my problem i can sync my device with my windows xp no problem but when i try to do the update it says i cannot connect to the zaurus. It was the same thing with the 3.10 rom installion but i did something and it worked, now i just dont know what i did.

Am i supposed to have both those drivers install (the USB and network adapter,)because i can only see one, and when i turn tcip USB it then runs the network adapter, but i still cant install

Can anyone help me out
