Hi i have cacko rom 1.22a, i downloaded kismet (and kismet qt) from cacko feed and the libpcap0.8.
I am using a Symbol Spectrum24 wifi card.
When i started kismet, my wifi card just starts blinking the led. but after a few seconds i get the error: Cant connect to the server.

why???
how i can get kismet working???

Try creating a "dummy" network service with the following settings.

ESS-ID: any
Network type: Ad-Hoc
IP address: 10.1.0.2
Subnet mask: 255.0.0.0
Gateway: 10.1.0.1
DNS: 10.1.0.1

Connect to this service and then run kismet. This worked for me on the C3000. The settings above just serves to keep the card from timing-out.

Thanks, but i still get the error.

I installed the files from the url, but now when i enable the dummy connection the led blinks very slow, but when i enable kismet, the led starts to blinking fast, but i still get the error.

Why??

I resolved my problem. Very easy!!!
After crashing my head a few days with kismet, i uninstalled it, and installed the Wellenretier from the feed, and it is working.

Easy to configure!!!

It is working with a Symbol Wifi card in a C700 with cacko lite rom 1.22a

No solution for kismet and symbol spectrum on Cacko 1.22a????

I can connect to my AP, but I kismet can't connect to server.

EDITED:

Seinfield, wellenreiter works ok? In my case it starts finding packets and add hits, but after X seconds it stops finding packets. The card continues blinking but there ara no more hits. It seems that the comunication between wellen and card is lost.

Now i have like a moth working with the wellenreiter and it is working perfectly.
