I've seen a few posts about FM radio on the Z, usually focussed around CF based tuners which are ok if you have a free CF port and are able to get/write software to drive it. I'm not aware of any such software myself though I could be wrong.

There is another way which some may know of or use and some may not have known or thought about: an inline FM tuner. A tuner which connects to the headphone jack of your PDA (regardless of which type):

Here are a couple I've found - these have their own integrated heaphones, I've also seen one which has a jack for your own headphones - which I'm looking for.

FYI:

I hope this is of some help. FYI IMHO YMMV ;-)

I got one almost identical to the first model. Well, actually it IS a standalone ordinary FM radio, except that there's an additional plug for 3.5mm jack. The sound quality is just minimal. After all, I still don't quite understand why bother to turn Z into such a giant FM radio, if a FM radio has now become as small as a finger tip? Just my 2 zents.

Indeed wink.gif

In fact, I noticed the first one I referred to was £25 at first, now it's £19, still too much for an FM tuner, especially as I've seen exactly the same ones on eBay for a few pounds. blink.gif

If it were possible to obtain non-standard channels and receive data over them, then an FM tuner might have a use:
