If this IDE to USB adaptor works for Cxx00, then opportunities are limitless (provided we have drivers for specific harddrives, CD/DVD readers/writers).

just a word to tell you that i've just bought the SohoUSB EasyIDE device (do a google search
and it worked out of the box with my Z !
i could try it with my *old sleeping* yamaha crwF1 IDE burner and i could mount a cdrom with just a
mount /dev/scd0 /mnt/cdrom
see the picture!
