Due to my Z crashing (file system went corrupt) I had an opportunity to reflash, and decided to try pdaXrom. I love it!

I am using RC11 on a 760.

A couple of newbie questions:

1. How do I set the time zone?

2. Is there a way to set the clock display to AM/PM format, instead of 24hr format?

3. Is it just me, or does right clicking (FN+tap) not work?

4. How do I cut and paste? (I think question 3 is the answer to my problem, but since I can't try it, I'm not sure.)

1. Basically its posible but you need to do it by hand - what do you need it for?

4. Correct :-) Right click will insert.

1. Well, right now when I run "date" it tells me I am in UTC. If I use "ntpdate" to set my clock, it sets it to the correct UTC time. I would rather it show me my local time though at the prompt, on the screen, and in my calendar program. Is there something I don't understand here?

2. Ok, I know, we silly American's like to use AM/PM instead of 24hr time like most of you do, but it will be a nice feature sometime. I don't wear a watch because everything has the time (cell phone, pc, Z), but I'm not good at converting 22:00 into something meaningful to myself. I'll be patient though.

4. Oh, in aterm it is middle click to paste. =)

If you use xfce, you can change to "12hrs" and add "AM" or "PM"

I figured out the timezone thing:

ln -s /usr/share/zoneinfo/America/Chicago /etc/localtime

I was just a bit confused by the fact that /etc/localtime didn't already exist.
